No. At launch, CIVERGE is a cross-partisan civic and political movement. It does not ask members to leave their existing political parties or affiliations.

Not necessarily. CIVERGE does not assume the correct policy is halfway between competing partisan positions. It asks what outcome is being pursued, what credible evidence shows, what tradeoffs exist, and what approach is most likely to work.

No. Republicans, Democrats, independents, libertarians, conservatives, liberals, moderates, and politically unaffiliated people can participate if they support CIVERGE’s foundational civic standards.

Not at launch. Candidate endorsements, questionnaires, or scorecards could be considered later if the organization develops appropriate governance, criteria, and legal structures.

It means using credible facts, data, evaluation, and experience to understand likely consequences and actual outcomes. Evidence informs decisions; it does not eliminate legitimate disagreement about values, priorities, uncertainty, or tradeoffs.

We acknowledge it, study why it failed, and change course. A policy is a tool, not a loyalty test. Responsible leadership should preserve what works, modify what underperforms, and end or replace what fails.

No. Some disagreements are real and should remain clear. Cross-partisan means people can disagree honestly while still accepting democratic processes, applying consistent standards of evidence and integrity, and working together where possible.

CIVERGE is currently presented as a cross-partisan civic movement. This website does not represent it as a political party, PAC, candidate committee, 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), or other tax-exempt entity. Any future legal structure or regulated political activity will be established and disclosed before that activity begins.
